I called David last night to see how things were going three days into the hike. Last night (Sunday July 15), David and Josh were camping somewhere between Aubrac and St Alban sur Limagnole. Only three days have gone by, and the two hikers are already extremely tired and weary; with blisters, aching backs and overall tired bodies. So far, the hiking paths have been difficult, with many up and down-hills. This is a rough part of the hike, and they had been warned of the difficulty of this area. Surely, their bodies will get accustomed to the physical effort.
David and Josh would like to thank Kathryn Lohnes (Josh's mother) as she provided food and first aid, which have already proved to be of great necessity.
I will try to keep you posted with regular updates on the hikers’ progress to Compostella. Stay tuned…
